Sweati uses your information to create training programs, guide workouts, answer read-only training questions, track progress, sync optional health data, and operate the app.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as email address and authentication identifiers.
- Profile details you enter, including name, birthday, gender, height, weight, goals, equipment, schedule, experience level, limitations, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Workout and training data, including generated programs, workout logs, exercise selections, swaps, deleted or edited exercises, sets, reps, loads, durations, distances, pace or effort targets, rest timers, RPE, feedback, calories, heart-rate summaries, and progress signals.
- Optional Apple Health data when you choose to connect Apple Health, such as sleep, steps, heart rate, resting heart rate, VO2 max, height, weight, workouts, and active energy.
- Optional Apple Watch workout data and sync events, such as workout start or finish status, set or step completion, timers, haptics, workout duration, heart-rate summaries, active energy summaries, HealthKit save status, and phone-watch synchronization status.
- Optional foreground location data during outdoor guided runs so Sweati can show live distance progress and auto-complete distance-based run steps. Sweati stores workout summaries such as completed distance and duration, not turn-by-turn routes or continuous location history.
- Coach Chat messages you send during a session and compact training context needed to answer those questions. Coach Chat history is currently session-only in the app.
- Subscription and purchase entitlement information from Apple, such as product id, original transaction id, expiration status, restore status, and billing support requests. Sweati does not collect or store full payment card numbers.
- Optional profile photos when you choose to upload one.
- Support messages and requests you send to us.
- Technical data needed to run the app, including device and app diagnostics, crash reports, push notification tokens, App Check or security identifiers, and basic usage events.
How We Use Information
- To provide core app functionality, including account access, personalized workout programming, Coach Chat, guided workout screens, workout logging, progress views, reminders, location-backed run steps, Apple Health sync, and Apple Watch sync.
- To generate and improve coaching insights, exercise swaps, workout adjustments, Coach Chat responses, and training recommendations for your account.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve app reliability.
- To verify subscription access, restore purchases, manage entitlements, and respond to billing support requests.
- To respond to support, privacy, and account deletion requests.
AI Processing
- With your explicit permission, Sweati uses Google Gemini and may send relevant profile, equipment, goal, schedule, workout, history, performance, app-help, and optional Apple Health context to AI services to generate programs, swaps, workout adjustments, insights, and read-only Coach Chat answers.
- You can decline or withdraw AI data sharing permission in Account Settings. Declining leaves saved workouts and manual logging available; AI programs, swaps, insights, adjustments, and Coach Chat require permission.
- Google Gemini may receive derived fitness metrics such as completed workouts, distances, durations, loads, reps, RPE, calories, sleep summaries, step summaries, and heart-rate summaries. Sweati does not send live GPS coordinates to AI services for the current guided-run feature.
- Coach Chat is read-only. It can explain training, workouts, exercise history, app features, and supplied context, but it does not directly change programs, workouts, profile details, equipment, HealthKit data, or watch state.
- AI-generated content can be incomplete, unsuitable, or wrong. Do not enter information you do not want used for personalized fitness recommendations or read-only coaching answers.
Permissions
- Apple Health access is optional and controlled by you through iOS permissions. Health data is used only to provide fitness, recovery, progress, workout sync, and coaching features.
- Location access is optional and used only while the app is in use for outdoor guided run distance tracking. Some short track interval steps may stay manual because phone GPS can be too loose for accurate short-distance auto-completion.
- Notification access is optional and used for workout reminders, rest-timer alerts, and related workout updates.
- Photo library or camera access is optional and used only when you choose to set a profile photo.
- You can change Apple Health, Location, Notification, Photo, and Camera permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Apple Health permissions can also be changed in the Health app.
Apple Health and Watch
- Sweati does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or sale to data brokers.
- Sweati may write completed workouts and active energy to Apple Health when permission is granted. If an Apple Watch workout session participates, Sweati may ask the watch to finalize the HealthKit workout so Apple Fitness can receive denser heart-rate data.
- Health data imported from Apple Health and workout data from Apple Watch may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Calories, heart-rate samples, and HealthKit save status can differ between Sweati and Apple Fitness because they depend on Apple permissions, sensor availability, watch connectivity, and successful workout-session finalization.
- Sweati may reject clearly partial Apple Watch calorie summaries and use a phone-side estimate for the workout log or Health write when the watch value appears incomplete.
Sharing
- We use service providers such as Firebase/Google services for authentication, cloud storage, database hosting, functions, App Check, push support, diagnostics, crash reporting, and AI-backed functionality.
- We may use Apple platform services such as Apple Health, HealthKit, Apple Watch connectivity, notifications, and location permissions when you enable related features.
- We use Apple StoreKit and App Store systems to process subscriptions, purchases, restores, and subscription status updates.
- We do not sell your personal information and do not use your health, fitness, or location data for advertising.
- We may disclose information if required by law or needed to protect users, the app, or our rights.
Retention and Deletion
- We keep account and workout data while your account is active or as needed to provide the app.
- You can delete workout history or delete your account from Account Settings. You can also contact support for account or privacy help.
- Deleting your account removes your authentication account, profile, programs, logs, weight history, insights, analytics, AI sharing preferences, training caches, queued requests, profile photo, and previous deletion archives. We retain a server-only identifier marking the deleted account to prevent old sessions or background jobs from recreating its data. We do not retain a full profile or fitness-data archive. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately in your Apple subscription settings.
Your Choices
- You can update profile details, change equipment, disconnect Apple Health, manage notifications, deny or revoke location access, delete history, or delete your account in the app.
- You can restore purchases in the app and manage or cancel Apple subscriptions from your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can request help through the Support screen.
Children
- Sweati is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. You must be at least 18 to create an account or use the service.
- If you believe a child has provided personal information to Sweati, contact support so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
